Pastor Olumide Akinyemi
Pastor Olumide Akinyemi gave his life to the Lord Jesus Christ in February 1990 and has remained committed to serving God through ministry, leadership, and missions.
Before relocating to the United States, he served as the Missions Outreach Coordinator at The Men of Issachar Vision Ministries in Nigeria. He moved to the United States with his family in 2003 and became a member of Christ Apostolic Church Word of Salvation Evangelical Ministry (CAC WOSEM) in November 2004 at the Baltimore Park Avenue Assembly. He faithfully served as a Sunday School teacher before being appointed Church Secretary in 2007.
In 2008, Pastor Akinyemi was selected to assist the late Pastor James Olaleye in establishing the Randallstown Assembly, where he served as both Sunday School teacher and Church Secretary. In 2015, he was appointed to serve as the Minister-in-Charge of the Washington, D.C. Assembly alongside Lady Evangelist Lydia Aluko. His ministry there was interrupted by a military deployment to Afghanistan, followed by a relocation to Germany. While in Germany, he pastored the CAC WOSEM Germany Assembly until returning to the United States in 2018. Upon his return, he continued serving alongside Pastors Ojekunle and Adeleke at the Randallstown Assembly.
Pastor Akinyemi is happily married to Lady Evangelist Olujumoke Akinyemi, and together they are blessed with two wonderful children, Bethel and Peniel.
He currently serves as the District Superintendent of CAC WOSEM Washington District. In his secular profession, Pastor Akinyemi serves as a Commissioned Officer in the United States Public Health Service (USPHS) and is a Registered Nurse and Family Nurse Practitioner. Through both ministry and healthcare, he remains devoted to serving God and impacting lives with compassion, integrity, and excellence.
